Two of the victims who were killed in the New Orleans truck attack during a New Year’s celebration were from Long Island. 25-year-old Matthew Tenedorio was born in Mineola and grew up on Long Island before moving to Louisiana was among the at least 15 victims. Billy DiMaio who was also 25, grew up in East Islip was also killed in the attack.
