Former Long Island Congressman George Santos will be required to pay more than $200,000 next month.
Santos pleaded guilty to federal charges of aggravated identity theft and wire fraud in August. A U.S. District Court Judge has orders Santos to pay $205,000 at least 30 days before his sentencing scheduled for Feb. 7.
Santos faces a minimum of 2 years in prison at his sentencing for the aggravated identity theft charge. The wire fraud charge has no minimum sentence and a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
