Child found alone outside on Christmas

A 4-year-old boy was found outside alone in freezing temperatures on Christmas night in Wantagh.
The child was discovered late that evening and was not reunited with family members until the following morning.
Nassau County police say the case is under investigation by Child Protective Services.
