Investigators say they have 15 ‘credible’ reports of escort encounters with Rex Heuermann

Investigators say fifteen sex workers who are currently behind bars had “credible” encounters with suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann.
This comes after the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation when Heuermann was arrested in July 2023. They have spoken to nearly 300 sex workers in Long Island correctional facilities.
Heuermann is charged with killing six women. Most of the Gilgo Beach murder victims were young female escorts.
The details of the encounters are still unknown at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
