East Farmingdale, NY- Hurricane Larry has formed in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Africa. Larry is expected to intensify in the open water over the next few days as he continues on a path to the northwest. As of now, a few computer models show Larry making landfall between North Carolina and Maryland while others say Larry will get closer to the U.S. but then head back out to sea or up to Canada. The forecast can change quickly. We will keep a careful eye on Larry and the rest of the tropics as the Hurricane Season continues through the end of November.
