(Islandia, NY)- A woman was robbed Tuesday night in an Islandia parking lot. Suffolk County Police say a 46-year-old woman was walking to her car in the parking lot at Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel just before 10pm when she was approached by a man who displayed what appeared to be a handgun. The suspect demanded cash, the woman complied and the man fled in a black sedan heading westbound on Express Drive North. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
