(East Farmingdale, NY)-  WALK-FM Chief Meteorologist Pat Pagano is busy in the WALK Weather Center keeping an eye on two storm systems for this week.  Pat says our first winter storm arrives today, expect spotty light freezing rain and drizzle during the day on Monday.  Freezing rain will change over to rain Monday night before tapering off sometime on Tuesday.  Expect fog for the commute on Tuesday morning.

The second storm will come later this week and could bring us some snow.  At this time, Pat says to expect a burst of accumulating snow to arrive sometime on Thursday morning.  The snow should mix with sleet in the afternoon on Thursday before changing to rain Thursday night and ending on Friday.  Right now, Pat thinks we could see 1-3 inches on the coast, 2-4 inches elsewhere.
