(East Farmingale, NY)- A third Nassau County run COVID-19 vaccination center will open on Monday, February 15th at Long Island University, Post campus in Brookville. New York State residents (including Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, etc) can sign up for appointments when they become available at www.nassaucountyny.gov/vaccine. Nassau County officials say the newest vaccination center will operate as they have available dosages and due to New York State guidance, the facility will only be vaccinating group 1b, which consists of essential employees. Nassau County also offers vaccine appointments at two other locations including the Yes We Can Community Center in Westbury and Nassau County Community College.
