(East Farmingdale, NY)- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said Thursday that he want’s New Yorkers to know that, there will be a second dosage ready for those who have already received the first dose. Worries over limited supply, have had some who have already received a single shot, wondering if they might not be able to complete the vaccination process. At a press conference on Thursday, Cuomo said that New York has the infrastructure to vaccinate more New Yorkers- but that the limited supply of the vaccines rolling out to the states from the federal government is what continues to delay the massive undertaking of vaccinating the over 19 million New York residents. The New York Governors office also noted on Thursday, that the current vaccines available from both Pfizer and Moderna, have been shown to protect against the UK strain of COVID-19 which has been found in some Nassau and Suffolk County residents as well as in infected individuals upstate New York and in New York City.
