New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Monday said the strategy to keeping COVID numbers low in the state is to “identify micro-clusters”. The Governor said that his office is, “obsessive about getting incoming case numbers from the hospital’s” and added that anything around 2 percent is a micro-cluster. The COVID-19 infection rate in New York State continues to hover around 1 percent. New restrictions to combat rising coronavirus infections in “micro-clusters” were unveiled last week.
