Rush hour commuters saw big delays on Tuesday morning following a serious early morning crash on the Southern State Parkway. State Police say the fatal accident occurred just after 5am in the eastbound lanes of the Southern State Parkway between exit 29 and exit 30. As of 9:30am, eastbound traffic is still being detoured off the Southern State Parkway and onto the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. State Police declined to say how many vehicles were involved in the collision and say the accident is still under investigation.
