A bicyclist was struck and killed in an early morning crash on Friday in Lake Grove. On July 24, 2020, around 1:45am, authorities say an unidentified bicyclist was heading southbound on New Moriches Rd when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle on Middle Country Rd. The driver of the vehicle, 20 year old Brian Ferretti of Sayville, was not injured. The vehicle, a 2005 Toyota sedan was impounded for a safety check. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
