Director James Cameron wants us all to get over the fact that Jack died at the end of “Titanic.” He was asked in an interview with “Vanity Fair” why Rose didn’t make room for Jack on that floating door? Cameron said he can’t believe that 20 years later people are still arguing that he could have lived and that he tested the physics himself! “I was in the water with the piece of wood putting people on it for about two days getting it exactly buoyant enough so that it would support one person…” He also went on to say that Jack needed to die, otherwise it would change the whole meaning of the movie.
MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is coming back! The cast will be back for a new series, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” which will air next year. Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino are officially back! Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola will not be returning. The original “Jersey Shore” premiered in 2009 and ran for six seasons.
“Springsteen on Broadway” has been extended. Bruce’s production at the Walter Kerr Theatre was supposed to run through early February, but producers announced yesterday that it seems it was “Born to Run” through June 30th! Fans who registered for tickets for the original run who weren’t able to grab any through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan program will be notified about the additional shows.
Fergie will host FOX’s new singing-competition series The Four: Battle for Stardom. Sean “Diddy” Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and music executive Charlie Walk were announced as the four judges earlier this month.
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have both unfollowed each other on Instagram! She made the move first a couple of weeks ago, and he followed suit this weekend. The former couple seem to be content each moving on with their previous exes, Justin Bieber and Bella Hadid.
