Matthew Nickerson of Fort Salonga is accused of stabbing a man in Oyster Bay Cove during a dispute over the weekend.
Police say Nickerson drove to the home of his ex-girlfriend and got into an argument with a 24-year-old male at the residence. He then stabbed the man four times in the chest with a box cutter and then ran off.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.
Nickerson was arrested and charged with felony assault.
