Incumbent Sea Cliff Mayor Elena Villafane was reelected Tuesday defeating business man and Pirate’s Booty founder Robert Ehrlich.
Ehrlich ran as a write-in candidate. Villafane won with 1,064 votes to Ehrlich’s 62 votes.
Incumbents Waylyn Hobbs Jr. and Robert T. Kennedy will keep their seats for mayor in Hempstead and Freeport Villages.
Michael O’Neill will take over for Mayor Dennis Siry, who’s term limited in Amityville.
