There is an all female crew heading into space on a Blue Origin craft this spring. Katy Perry will join Gayle King, Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez, an aerospace engineer, a civil rights activist and a filmmaker. Katy posted on Instagram saying “I am honored to be among this diverse group of celestial sisters.” In 2021 William Shatner became the oldest person to travel into space. Katy Perry will become the first pop star in space. Kind of reminds me of her 2011 hit E.T.
