A settlement in the Diocese of Rockville Centre clergy sex abuse case has officially been approved by a judge.
Approximately 600 abuse survivors and the church officially signed off on a $323 million settlement ending a four-year court battle.
A diocese spokesperson said the settlement would not affect the operations at any church or force any to close.
