This has been a big month in the box office. This weekend Moana 2 had a historic opening weekend with $221 million making it the biggest five day opening of all time. Along with monster hits Wicked and Gladiator II it was the biggest Thanksgiving in the box office of all time. Moana 2 was originally slated to be a Disney+ film until Moana became the most streamed movie for kids on all platforms last year. The sequel is breaking many records and is even the third biggest animated opening day of all time behind Inside Out 2 that came out earlier this year and the Incredible’s 2.
