(AP) Broadway theaters will dim their marquee lights Thursday night for one minute in memory of actor James Earl Jones, who died 9 Sep aged 93. The namesake of Broadway’s James Earl Jones Theatre and the 2017 recipient of the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement, Jones was best known for voicing Darth Vader in the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, but had his start in theater, first understudying in the play ‘The Egghead’ in 1957, and earning Tony Awards for ‘The Great White Hope’ and ‘Fences’
