Nassau County officials arrested a man accused of pretending to be cop then cuffing a woman who was arguing with his girlfriend.
Police say Leonardo Argueta from Roosevelt approached the female victim involved in the argument outside of a deli. He identified himself as an undercover detective and handcuffed the victim. Argueta then let her go after she and others threatened to call the police.
Argueta was charged with criminal impersonation and unlawful imprisonment.
