The Nassau County Legislature Rules Committee has voted to approve the 42-year lease on the Nassau Coliseum, and surrounding property known as the Hub, for the Las Vegas Sands Corporation.
The vote came after the Planning Commission voted to approve the lease last week. The next vote on the matter will go before the full Legislature on Aug. 5.
