State officials announced five arrests in an alleged ghost gun operation, which was manufacturing illegal firearms in Nassau County.
Authorities say the untraceable weapons were 3-D printed and assembled in Nassau, and then sold on the streets of Queens.
A total of 86 firearms were confiscated. The five suspects were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a firearm and criminal sale of a firearm. Each defendant faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
