Uncle Giuseppe’s taking over Stop & Shop location

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is taking over the Stop & Shop supermarket in Greenvale that is scheduled to close later this year.
The Greenvale store is among 32 underperforming supermarkets in five states, including four on Long Island that Stop & Shop will close on or before Nov. 2.
