A Suffolk County Police officer saved a trio of dogs that were trapped alone in their Rocky Point home when a house fire broke out on Sunday afternoon.
The residents were not home at the time of the blaze, the officer spotted the dogs through a window and pull their beloved pets to safety. According to police, the officer smashed a window, climbed through and helped the dogs out of the burning building.
Officials believe that the fire started accidentally.
