Rex Heuermann, the accused Gilgo Beach serial killer, has been charged with murder in the killing of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, who disappeared in 2007. He was charged in July with the killings of three other women whose bodies were found buried along a remote beach parkway. Heuermann faces a second-degree murder charge in the most recent killing.
