It’s hard to believe 20 years ago today ELF hit theaters. The iconic film starring Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf has become a HUGE holiday hit. The movie, also starring Zooey Deschanel, is one of the most quotable films with lines like “Smilings My Favorite,” “You Sit on a throne of lies,” “Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color,” and of course “Santa!!! I know him!”
Did you know Jim Carrey originally was supposed to play him… but you can’t be The Grinch and the jolliest ELF. Jon Favreau actually directed the film… why is everything he touches gold?!
