East Farmingdale, NY- Police say two women were killed overnight in two separate hit and run crashes.
The first accident happened around 10:15pm on Monday night in Hauppauge. Police say an eastbound vehicle, believed to be a sedan, struck another vehicle at the intersection of Motor Parkway and Moreland Road and then hit a woman on the sidewalk. The vehicle fled the scene.
The second crash happened about 15 minutes later in West Islip. Police say a westbound vehicle on Montauk Highway struck a female pedestrian near Pearce Lane at approximately 10:30pm. The vehicle fled the scene.
