East Farmingdale, NY- Forecasters are keeping a close watch on the Atlantic as Tropical Storm Henri (pronounced on-RE). TS Henri could develop into a Hurricane in the next few days and has the potential to clip Long Island. Some weather models show the storm tracking over Long Island, while others take it to the coast of Massachusetts or even keep it entirely off shore. Right now it is too soon to determine the final path of Henri. WALK-FM Chief Meteorologist Pat Pagano said the National Hurricane Center plans to fly a plane Thursday into Henri to get a better look at its path and that the longer Henri tracks to the west, the closer he could come to Long Island. The WALK-FM Weather Center will keep a close watch on TS Henri and his eventual path and provided updates as they become available.
