The Town of North Hempstead will host a drive-up fireworks show over Memorial Day weekend — on Saturday, May 29.
The show will take place at Hempstead Beach Park. Attendees will remain in their cars to ensure social distancing and will pay a $10 parking fee.
Officials are also asking everyone to bring nonperishable foods to be donated for Island Harvest
