East Farmingdale, NY- A shot for a shot? That’s the plan so to speak from Officials in Suffolk County who announced the “Lift Your Spirit, Take Your Shot” initiative on Wednesday. Under the plan, residents ages 21 and older, who get vaccinated in May can receive a free drink at a participating business through May 31st. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, “With each vaccine, we are one step closer to returning to normalcy,…While we have made incredible progress this year, with over 700,000 residents vaccinated, we are now nearing the point where supply is beginning to outpace demand. Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures, and the ‘Lift Your Spirit, Take Your Shot’ initiative provides yet another incentive for our residents to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated.”

- Raphael Wine in Peconic
- Peconic County Brewing in Riverhead
- Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Greenport
- Spider Bite Beer Co. in Holbrook
- Montauk Brewing Company in Montauk
- Twin Fork Beer Company in Riverhead
- Long Island Spirits in Baiting Hollow
According to a release from the County Executive office “Residents age 21 and over who get vaccinated at a Suffolk County run POD during the month of May will receive a ticket that can be redeemed at one of the participating breweries, wineries, and distilleries for a free beer, tasting, glass of wine, or cocktail. Free beverages vary by establishment and must be redeemed by May 31, 2021”.
