(East Farmingdale, NY)- Access to a COVID-19 vaccine in New York State, expands on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, to include all New Yorker’s ages 16 and older. Suffolk County resident, Ava Orobello-Stretch is a 16-year-old Junior at William Floyd High School and she says she’s eager to a vaccine because, “I want to protect my grandparents. I also want to travel again and protect others around me.” Ava’s boyfriend, Cole Downey of Holbrook was already eligible due to his work at a local grocery store and is scheduled for his second dose of a vaccine this Wednesday, April 7th.
