(North Lindenhurst, NY)- Police say a man’s body was found lying in the road Tuesday morning in North Lindenhurst. Officials say they received a 911 call about a body on Wellwood Avenue, north of New Horizions Boulevard at 9:20am. The unidentified victim was transported to Good Sam hospital and pronounced dead. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
