(Mahnasset Bay, NY)- A dolphin was rescued Tuesday night in Manhasset Bay. Nassau Police say they got a 911 call about the stranded dolphin around 7:30pm. Officials say the dolphin had become stuck because of low tide. Officials say a civilian and two police officers used a kayak to relocate the animal back into deeper water.
