(Central Islip, NY)- Police say a man was shot Thursday night in Central Islip. Officials say the man was parked in his vehicle on Connetquot Avenue at 7:40 p. m., when he shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
