(Deer Park, NY)- Authorities report an unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday night in Deer Park. Officials say Richard Prezzano was driving a 2004 Nissan Sentra westbound on Bay Shore Road near Washington Avenue around 9:30 p. m., when it struck an adult male in the roadway. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information is asked to call the 1st squad at 631-854-8152.
