NY extends deadline to renew drivers licenses

(East Farmindale, NY)-  If your drivers license has expired and you’re worried about going to the DMV in the middle of the pandemic, you have a little more time to get it all sorted out.  New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has issued an executive order extending the expiration date of expired licenses and permits.  Any license or permit with an expiration date after March 1, 2020, is now valid through January 1, 2021.  Over 60 tasks can be completed on the Department of Motor Vehicle’s website including but not limited to license renewals and renewing vehicle registrations.
