Nassau County Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Tuesday night on the Long Island Expressway. Detectives say a 67-year-old man was heading westbound in the HOV lane near exit 41 in Jericho on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 just before 9 p. m., when he struck a man walking in the roadway. The victim suffered multiple serious injuries. The driver remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
