A bicyclist was seriously injured Wednesday morning in Smithtown. Suffolk Police say on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, just before 9am, a 51 year old woman was riding her bicycle northbound on Edgewood Avenue, east of Landing Avenue when she was struck by a northbound 2019 Subaru. The woman was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital an was listed in critical condition. The driver of the Subaru, 25 year old Lizzie VanDerschraft of Stony Brook, was not injured.
