After months of zoom classes and socially distanced outdoor workouts, on Monday, Long Islander’s will be able to head back inside the gym, for a workout.  Gyms and fitness centers on Long Island will need to adhere to strict guidelines from New York State in order to maintain operations.  Capacity will be reduced to 33 percent.  All patrons and staff must wear masks and practice social distancing.  Gyms and fitness centers will need to follow new strict protocols for cleaning and disinfecting.  Updates may be needed to heating, air-conditioning and ventilation systems and gyms will be inspected by local health departments.
