- Alarming surges in coronavirus cases across the U.S. South and West are raising fears that the outbreak is spiraling out of control. Cases surpassed 100,000 in Florida on Monday. Hospitalizations are rising dramatically in Houston. And more than 20% of those tested in Arizona were positive for COVID-19.
- In NY on Sunday the state tested over 56 thousand people and less than 1 percent tested positive. Governor Cuomo on Monday said that he is talking with the Governors of NJ and CT to possibly consider issuing quarantine orders for out of state visitors.
